My Shrinking Lumpy Journey so far!

Wow! What a few weeks its been on our journey. After 40 years of Martial Arts training and 3 World Kickboxing titles, my husband Marc finally had a full hip replacement on his right hip – I knew he was overdoing it for some time!

I celebrated my 51st birthday and I have to admit…I feel AWESOME!

I finished my first 3 rounds of EC (Epirubican and Cyclophosphamide) which is a particularly aggressive chemotherapy treatment which made my hair get thinner – so I shaved the whole lot off and I’m embracing the Wakanda Warrior image (Black Panther film).

The EC made me feel pretty sluggish and tired, but NOT ill. I haven’t lost any weight since I began chemotherapy, I started at 58Kg’s at 5’7 tall and I’m pretty much staying at that weight, which is important as I’m reliably informed that many people suffer dramatic weight loss on chemotherapy which greatly reduces their chances of survival.

The new drug “Docetaxel” was administered for the very first time on Friday 30th June and I was warned of a whole host of expected side effects. So far…I have zero…which is completely awesome.

That said, whilst not feeling ill on the EC, my heart MRI scan showed I have a reduced ejection fraction from my left ventricle in my heart, hence I’m now on a low grade beta blocker and blood pressure reducing medications to help protect my heart moving forwards.

BEST NEWS EVER…on Friday 14th July I spoke to my oncologist who confirmed that my originally 34mm lump is now down to 11mm and shrinking by the day..so the Dr’s and of course all of us are very happy and optimistic.

…..but guys…I still need your help!

When I visit my oncologists they are totally blown away by how good I look and feel. This is because very early on before deciding to have chemotherapy, I was in contact with some of the worlds very best holistic practitioners. My supplement regime was created based upon laboratory results of my DNA and my holistic treatments were scientifically and intelligently designed accordingly. In the 3 months of holistic treatments from diagnosis to chemotherapy, my lump didn’t grow..it didn’t shrink either, but it didn’t grow, nor did it spread to any lymph nodes or other tissue.

What I did was I got in the VERY best shape to endure the rigors of chemotherapy!

You see, I’m of a very firm belief that while the chemotherapy poisons the lump and shrinks it, it also has the potential to destroy good cells and overall health, leaving you in some ways more susceptible to the effects of cancer.

That’s where holism comes in to its own. It creates whole body health in body and mind which I feel improves the efficacy of the drugs whilst minimizing side effects. When I explained this recently to a Harley street professor he was totally blown away by my response, my ideas and what we’ve done. He has already expressed great interest in a meeting to go through each step in detail in the hope that we can help many people in the future.

This is beautiful…helping others through my journey.

How I need your continued help. My holistic journey whilst pretty groundbreaking in its depth and diversity, is financially VERY expensive. We greatly underestimated the initial costs and all funds have long since run dry…as have any savings we once had.

I have a GoFundMe page called “Shrinking Lumpy”. If anyone could kindly donate, no matter how small, it would be hugely appreciated with Love.

Also, if anyone knows of any writers, journalists, publicists…anyone who can get my message out there to help others by my journey, please get in touch! Helping others makes me make sense of my cancer journey.

Cancer now sadly affects 1 in 2.5 people and is on the increase! One of my Dr’s informed me that from January 2022 to January 2023, cancer rates in the UK across all ages increased by 10%…which is staggering! Please help make my journey make a real difference to so many families.

My GoFundMe link should you wish to kindly help is:
