Shrinking Lumpy – My Breast Cancer Journey – Update 11th August 2023!

Wow! What a journey this has been so far! Round 6 of 7 chemotherapy all completed today (Friday 11th August), all bloods came back normal, heart MRI scans appear good…1 final chemotherapy blast 3 weeks today and then its a 4-6 week recovery period before surgery.

However, as I’ve said before, cancer is a multi faceted disease and I’m not putting all of my eggs in 1 basket so to speak by simply relying on chemotherapy to “cure” me as we all know that chemotherapy can be pretty brutal in wiping out good cells as well as cancerous cells, leaving you fatigued and more prone to further illness.

What I have learnt on my journey from listening to many very smart people is to learn to “Thrive not just Survive” whilst going through chemotherapy. This means really taking the time to look after yourself inside out by means of optimal nutrition, exercise, mindset, spiritual belief (if you are that way inclined). Keeping fit, strong, healthy, well and rested/relaxed as much as possible is absolutely crucial to giving you THE very best possible chance of beating this disease which now affects 1 in 2.5 people.

Think about it…that’s 10 people who will get cancer (statistically) in a room of only 25 people!

That’s a scary statistic!

What am I doing daily?

Each day I do the following:

– Juice 5Kg of organic raw carrots (look at Vitamin A and tumour shrinkage)
– Take around 15 supplements unique to my situation, some of which are aimed at blocking oestrogens (my cancer is oestrogen dominant)
– Exercise at the correct prescribed intensity for 30-45 minutes. Too low intensity…it won’t work, too high intensity…creates oxidative stress which can encourage tumour growth.
– Walk at least 5,000 to 10,000 steps.
– Wear Lifewave stem cell patches for additional support
– Perform 20-30 minutes of Reiki meditation self heal
– Eat at least 10-15 portions of organic fruit and vegetables
– Laugh out loud many times and truly embrace loving the gift of life!

I’m sure I’ve missed a few things off of my list but as I write this email quite late in the day, I’m beginning to feel a little tired after 4 appointments around Harley Street plus the medications.

My main blessing on this journey has been the support from my beautiful family and friends, the Love from our M.A.S.K. community and believe it or not even kind messages from random strangers who’ve heard my story. Every time people wish me well, I feel truly humbled and blessed.

Until the next email…stay awesome!
