Chemotherapy Completed! Round 7 of 7 All Done – My “Shrinking Lumpy” Journey!

DONE!!! My final round 7 of 7 Chemotherapy was completed on 1st September 2023 at HCA Harley Street!

It’s been quite a journey so far. I now have 4-6 weeks to recover, raise my white blood cell and haemoglobin levels, allow my body tissues to recover…then its surgery.

Now surgery still won’t be a walk in the park. I’m having a double mastectomy, both breasts removed plus reconstructive surgery which means a few hours on the operating table but I’m now fully focused on getting as strong, fit and well as possible PRIOR to surgery as I know this will help speed my recovery post surgery.

I’m still taking a huge array of supplements and oestrogen blockers (Lumpy is fed by oestrogen) plus I’m still juicing 5Kg or organic carrots every day, detoxing via sauna blanket, using stem cell patches to optimise my body’s ability to heal. I’m also still exercising at just below 70% heart rate maximum so as to create positive stress with minimal oxidative stress (which can feed tumours). I also walk in nature as often as possible and eat an organic diet and grass fed organic meats.

So far so good! When the hair started to fall…I shaved the rest off and now proudly bare my head as I’m not ashamed of my journey. In fact, I’m deeply humbled to be able to reach out and help others now on similar journeys against a disease which now affects 1 in 2.5 people!

My Thanks…..

My deepest and most sincere thanks go out to YOU GUYS who’ve messaged me with all of your Love and support on my journey. To those who’ve donated, to our awesome M.A.S.K. community of people who are more like family in their unwavering Love and support. To all of the Dr’s, consultant’s, nurses and administration staff at HCA Healthcare who have made this journey so much easier than it initially was…thank you doesn’t seem enough!

Cancer affects families and I have had the luxury of having THE very best support from my beautiful family on this journey. So much so, my husband, Marc (who came to all but 1 of my chemotherapy appointments) and our son, Jamahl attended my final treatment and captured the final moments on video (see below).

Once I’m through my next phase, I intend to reach out and help as many folk as possible through their journey’s. There are so many ways to THRIVE not simply survive through cancer that need to be screamed from the rooftops!

My voice is loud and I aim to be heard!

Much Love everyone!

Speak soon,

Vanessa x

P.S.

If any of you are touched by my story and would like to know more about what I did…please reach out xxx
