Having dieted multiple times over the past few years, with my weight yo-yoing continuously I found myselfin a rut at the beginning of this year having ballooned up the heaviest I have been. My weight and bodyimage had always been a struggle of mine both physically and mentally, and as such I was very down aboutthe way I looked as a result of the food I ate (as well as extreme lack of exercise!).
Having trained ‘intermittently’ (key word!) by myself at my local gym over the past year or two, I washesitant about whether this process would actually work for me, or if it was going to be another shortlived idea to lose weight where I would simply give up after a short period of time and regain the weightI had lost.
The process has been amazing working with M.A.S.K. PT.  The passion and dedication that I receive fromboth Marc and Vanessa throughout my journey so far has been incredible so far, and has spurred me onto achieving my goals more than I ever could have imagined.  I felt the benefits within weeks and theircommitment to ensuring I keep going and educating me not only on the way I train but my nutrition isabsolutely invaluable.  Every session I leave feeling regenerated and on a high, despite having been putthrough my paces!! It’s now got to the point that I actually can’t wait to train again, which is something Inever thought I’d say!!
It’s too hard to pick out one particular result.  Physically I now feel so much fitter, my body is stronger, mycore is solid and my body is starting to change having lost 3% body fat in my first 6 weeks. Last September 2015 I joined M.A.S.K. Personal Training on their 21 Day Fat Loss Programme.  At thetime I was running about 2 to 3 times a week at distances from 5k to 10k and had completed a halfmarathon but I had hit a plateau; my race times were not improving and my weight was stuck at slightlyheavier than I would have liked.  
The 21 Day Fat Loss Programme focused on both eating habits, diet and exercises and provided the valued kickstart I needed.  At first I was very skeptical of the advice but I stuck to it, with Vanessa firmly on my shoulder! Atthe end of the 21 day programme I had lost 10lbs and felt I had more energy than I had in years. I continued towork with Vanessa through to April and I lost a few more pounds, changed my body fat/muscle composition anddropped at least one dress size.
Through an improved diet suited to my body type I have learnt how to fuel my body and maintain energy levelsthrough the day which has had a positive impact on my overall health. The improved diet has meant I no longerneed to take medication to manage my IBS. My running times and endurance have all improved and in April Imanaged to complete my first marathon (London).

Working with M.A.S.K. Personal Training has been very professional and surprisingly fun. Marc started off quite gently, sorting my stretching and mobility, before turning the sessions up a few notches and now working me much harder. I’ve found the transition relatively gradual and I now feel much fitter and happier.

I now actually quite enjoy the Mr. Tabata sessions…I can feel myself getting fitter and more flexible. This helps me move around the squash court far and I have more energy at work.
